What are CAPs?
CAPs are a perk available for folks who go above and beyond to help out the Dystopia Rising: Oklahoma community. They can be gained through various forms of support, and spent on various benefits in and out of game.
How can I earn CAPs?
CAPs can be earned through the specific means listed below. They may also be available on a case by case basis, in exchange for effort put forth.
Extra NPC Time
10 CAPs per hour
Extra Setup and Cleanup
20 CAPs per hour
Bringing in a Treasure Hunt Item
CAPs as listed
Distressing/Genreing Fresh DR:OK Inventory
2 CAPs per item
How can I use caps?
CAPs can be used for a variety of non-mechanical benefits. If there is something you’d like the opportunity to access or affect, feel free to ask if it is an option using CAPs. In addition, the following list of CAPs purchases are consistently available.
ECON Benefits:
Donate a Blueprint to the Town Printbook - 10 CAPs
This allows you to add one Blueprint you currently hold to a Printbook that will be maintained by the chapter and be available to be shared among all attendees each event. Decorate it however you like before adding it - it remains the property of the character who donated it!
Move a Zone of Play up to 20 Feet - 500 CAPs from at least 5 players
This allows you to work together to move the center point and boundaries of a Zone of Play up to 20 feet in any direction.
Skip the Queue - 1000 CAPs
This allows a single player to skip the queue at any line for which DR:OK has authority for the duration of an event, both in and out of character, for one whole event. This includes but is not limited to Check-In, Public Works, and Death Processing. One per event, first come first serve.
NPC Requests
Request an NPC (General) - 150 CAPs
Request an NPC of a general type (orator, fighter, crafter, healer, or monster) to show up in town within the next 2 hours.
Request an NPC (Faction) - 150 CAPs
Request an NPC of a listed faction to show up in town within the next 2 hours.

Request a Face NPC - 300 CAPs
Request a specific Face NPC or a representative of that Face NPC to seek you out for a meeting within the next 2 hours.
Request a Sheet Change NPC - 300 CAPs
Request an NPC with the ability to make a specific sheet change (Faith, Skill, Profession, etc) to seek you out for a meeting within the next 2 hours. Changes to Infection and Resolve are not available.
Request an NPC (Non-Represented Faction) - 750 CAPs
Request an NPC from a DR:OK faction that is not in play during the current event to seek you out for a meeting within the next 2 hours.
Plot Opportunities
Priority Mail - 10 CAPs
Move your plot mail to the top of the stack - when Ops has a chance to respond to mail, they will get to yours first. Most recent purchase will be first.
Have a Hallucination - 25 CAPs
Receive a short hallucination with a 2/3 chance of containing useful OR accurate information.
Spread a Rumor - 25 CAPs
Add a short rumor to the Landsmen Rumors list. This requires an honest statement to Coord about whether your rumor is true or false.
Find a Trinket - 100 CAPs
Get a non-mechanical trinket with a story behind it to help pull you into the weekend’s plot.
Get a Read - 150 CAPs
Get a hint about the motivations or personality of a key NPC for the current plot.
Send Out an Invitation - 150 CAPs
Send out a public invitation to an event you’re hosting. Both ally and antagonist NPC factions will receive the invitation, and may or may not attend.

Reserve any one bunk or personal tenting location. Each reservation must correspond to a purchased ticket. First come first serve.
Hitch a Ride - 100 CAPs
During the event, get a ride up the hill to the Amphitheatre or the Far Tents in a genre vehicle.
